I am riding a Honda CG125...nice little bike...lacks power up hills though...as you can watch the speedo take a dive....learnt loads on it...in the 6 weeks I have had it....after test I have a restricted Yamaha XJR400...as I will be on a restricted license for 2 years.

I decided to buy the 125 after failing test 2 times....and felt I just needed to build up my confidence....no amount of lessons would do that....than just getting out on the road and riding....in 6 weeks I have done 1400 miles

Ah cool, was wondering if you had been doing your test on a sportsy-125, as this often seems to give testers a bad image.
Best thing you can do is get some miles under your belt... and try and ride like you're in a test all the time. So that it feels more natural when you've got someone looking over your shoulder. That way it's also easier to ignore the examiner and just ride 'normally'.
Just getting road experience doesn't mean /that/ much, though is useful, I'd been riding on the road on and off on various bikes on two CBT's for about 4 years... and still failed my first test.

The friends system is used so that you can mark specific people as your 'friends', this also effects your karma.
Once you have set someone as a friend they can see your personal details in the profile screen.

Ah thanks for info re profile.

I ride the test route nearly every day...do U-turns and E stops....do loads of town riding...as they always take you through the town.....hubby follows me most of the time...but I do go out on my own sometimes too.

Sounds like you shouldn't have a problem this time then.

Probably worse getting your hubby to criticise anything and everything he can... so you're used to the constant nagging (as you are anyway I'm sure Razz ) and think of him telling you off for not doing a shoulder check before you do, when you're actually on the test.

Really?! Think I missed something there Confused
Maybe they'll fall out after a month or so, restrictors are known to be unreliable Very Happy

Best of luck for your test, (all the best riders fail first time anyways Thumbs Up) and WELCOME Very Happy

Welcome to the club!

Being a cg125 owner for any ammount of time really makes you appreciate a bigger bike when you get it Very Happy disc brakes? pfft boots work well enough.. Cool

Good luck with the test, just remember to do what your instructor tells you and apart from that just ride like its a normal ride Wink
