Hi, just found these forums! looks good.
Im new to bikes and Im learning at the moment, my difference being that my bike is adapted its a cbf600s with all the controls modified and moved to the right hand side as my left arm is artificial (electric). Was told for years that I couldn't ride a bike then found out I could. Im gettin there slowly...
One reason for coming on her is that I am lookin for a 125cc along the lines of an sr, cb,gs, cg etc etc that is either going cheap or could be considered on short term loan so I can modify it and get some more experience on the road. Time out on my bike is not enough generally because of the cost of lessons and tying it in with payday lol.
The NADB granted me money to adapt my 600 but as a short term idea to aid with the credit crunch and gettin more time on the road I'm lookin for a 125 that could help me out. I'm in the portsmouth area but willing to travel within reason if ithe right thing turns up!
Please if anybody can help me or knows where I could look locally to try and keep costs down I'd be really grateful if you could contact me. When my story goes in the papers locally I'll be sure to give you a mention!
Thanks a million

You using a hand or a foot clutch?
Are you aware that the Honda Innova 125 has a semi-auto 4-speed gearbox?
The gearshift, front brake, rear brake and throttle are in the same place as on a normal bike, just no clutch lever.
It looks like a stepthrough but rides like a motorbike. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
