You'll have to do your CBT, then your Theory and Hazard Perception and then your Test. If you do your Theory and Hazard Perception first, you may find a company who will do your CBT, Training and Test as part of an intensive course. Look through the Yellow Pages.

It was £48 when I did it for a weekday during the day, and £57 for a weekend or evening test.

Basically I think I paid about £400 for a 3/4 day course for my DAS.

if you do your theory test, you should be able to find somewhere that will do your CBT and DAS in 4/5days for about £500 I should expect.

That is for the DSA though. You can do a license test for much less, if you are prepared to ride on a low powered bike for a couple of years. Also remember that for the DSA that includes training (lessions), and after all, one way or another most people spend £400-£700 on getting a license (car or bike).

Get your CBT, ride around for a bit, get your theory/hazard done ASAP as you can't book your full test without them, and then just see how things progress.

Hmm ain't you only 17 anyway broomy? If so you can't do you DAS anyway - you can only do the restricted licence.

Broomy, there is a very good bike school in devizes - I am not sure how far away that is from you, but it shouldnt be too far.

Call them up and talk to Ian - they are in the phone book - "the bike school" Devizes (not the most imaginative of names but who am I to judge?)

£30 an hour?! Its £13 an hour for me! Id seriously consider shopping a bit.

Yes, you need to find a course what includes the CBT and Theory.

My local trainig centre is www.wpm-training.co.uk, they have a nice prices and also give a lot of info on the site like routes to your test etc which is pretty usefull.
