I've seen the build thread over on the DT forum Wink

Not my style but looks well executed - you should move to Germany and get into GSXR's etc Laughing

ive already cut around 10 inches off the rear and around the same amount from the seat the bike will still be getting used for some off road action so i had to stay within the limits of practicality Very Happy

well i suppose thats a matter of opinion m8 it wasnt much of a dtr to start with tbh
i started trying to restore it but got bored its all about personal taste its not made to be liked by everyone just me

i just prefer to own something thats a little more than just another dtr makes it easier to spot in a car park Very Happy

yeh m8 i have plans for hand guards and other goodies im also changing the front muddy for something more suitable

im still only 3/4 of the way through the build ive had to hold back on some of the cosmetics for now until i get the mechanical side sorted this bike needed alot of new parts to get it roadworthy but im nearly there

thanks for the comments lads Very Happy

its just waterproof camo material m8 not actually made to be a cover but ive used it before on other bikes and it works well

you can use pretty much anything to cover seats as long as its waterproof and has a little stretch in it

Did you use a heavy duty staple gun to fit it on?

I'm going to mod one of my DT seats to have more a YZ end to it and want to know how easy you found doing it?

yeh you want a decent staple gun but it dosnt really need to be a high priced one

its one of those things where explaining how to do it sounds harder than actually doing it just give it a go m8 im sure you will be fine
