My brother has decided he wants a new exhaust for his TGB moped, instead of getting a bigger bike Rolling Eyes

But he has asked me to help him fit it, i never done an exhaust on a scootae (only the NSR and an CBR end can) so is there anything that i should be aware of before i start? is it any different to a normal bike type exhaust and do i need anything special to fit it?

Cheers

It'll be just the same, maybe more awkward to reach the bolts. Remember to sort out the fuelling after and it may need springs and rollers.

Don't forget to fit a new exhaust gasket, where it joins on to the engine. Thumbs Up

it will be very awkward to change the bolts as me and my mate found out we had to take all the fairings off take the seat off but its worth it it feels alot better putting a performance exhaust on just make sure it doesnt have a cone in it and make sure you upjet the carb get tighter cluth springs and lighter rollers
