Earn money, i'm in my first year of uni and I wish I had had some savings.
Just do whatever you want to do whilst you haven't got any commitments! Good luck,

From what the careers people have been saying at school, A levels are only really seen as a stepping stone to a degree, there really aren't that many places that will employ you on your A levels, especially as the three A2 levels you have aren't the most recognised core subjects.

If I were you I'd get a job at Sainsbury's or similar, spend 6 months saving, then go travelling, don't take a year out from uni just to work.

Yeh when you are looking for a first job A levels don't help much - employers either want someone with no qualifications, someone with a few gcses, or someone with a degree.

They can be useful after a few years to separate you from the rest when going for promotion/higher up jobs though.

But if you are looking for a years work, get off your arse and look around. Don't expect good money, because no one if going to pay a temp more than a grand a month.

Could join the armed forces as an officer, that's not much good for one year though. It's something you couldn't do with just GCSE's.
