The first is really dramatic.. i like the way you have got time to still pose for the camera in the third.

Hi

HDR is high dynamic range. The idea is to take 3 pictures, one over exposed (which should bring out the detail in the dark areas), one properly exposed and one under exposed (which should bring out the detail in the light areas). You then use software that merges the details from these 3 pics to give you an image with detail in the light and dark areas that digital cameras miss.

However by playing with the settings of the software you can get an effect as above, where they look more like a painting.

You can do this with a single image having brightened / darked copies of it in photoshop first.

All the best

Keith

Ace pics mate,

What's your settings that you're using, I presume you're using Photomatrix 3? My mate was telling me that morst mid-high end cameras feature auto-bracketing so it takes the photo under 3 different exposures?

First one is the bomb! Thumbs Up Karma Stick it on bikepics and you'll probably get pic of the day! Wink

I think the jacket in the first one with the trainers and the face its not all clean and perfect make the picture fantastic. The engine looks like something out of a cartoon and the tinted visor with the clouds just make it awesome. You couldn't improve that picture in anyway.

Bikepics is a deffo.

Jake, I want your stoppie skills. I've started doing stoppies/rolling stoppies on the NC30 and I can do them from 45. But I do want to do stoppies like the first picture. Easier with wide bars?

Can't wait till I get my Hornet back Very Happy

That first one is amazing though Thumbs Up

I'd canvas it Laughing
