I have spent the entire day sitting in bed, using the internet, and watching tv that I have either recorded or whats on. And I don't feel like I've wasted a day because I was out yesterday, and I will be out all day tomorrow and Monday!!!

Bank Holiday weekends rock Mr. Green

I performed a caesarian on a cow.

Then I got grief off another farmer who wanted me to caesarian his cow at the same time then threw a strop when I told him it would have to wait until I'd finished this one (my Being-in-Two-Places-at-Once-Device is broken today). He then rang round all the other local vets and got someone else out from another practice who took longer to arrive than I would have if he'd just waited.

I then lambed two sheep and made it into work only an hour late. There I saw two sick cats, did a caesarian on a sheep and stitched up a dog that had been run over by its owner.

Then I painted the last two walls in what is going to be my reading room and am now covered in yellow paint.

I come off call at 5pm on Tuesday. I am going straight to the pub!

I have a four day weekend NEXT weekend. I will have the roads to myself and the campsites will be empty because everyone blew their wad this weekend.

Mostly on the A30, the M5, the M4, the M25, the M1, and finally the A414.
Yay!
Nothing quite like the joy of spending a day in a car with a moody pregnant woman, a 2 year old, a 9 year old, a 10 year old and a dog.

Thumbs Up

Now i'm off to buy a big fuck-off bag of weed, some beers and a curry.
Unconsciousness will set in by 9pm at the latest.

Achieved waking up before 11am.

Drove to Watford, hurt my back helping my brother load an er-5 into a van without a ramp, drove to Hertford sold it to a breakers for a depressing amount (although reasonable given that its fooked, as kawasaki's tend to be).

Drove back to watford, dropped brother off, was forced to watch strange comedy by Armando Ianucci, drove home, upset many bimbling bank holiday motorists on the way. Played ukulele for a bit while it was peaceful.

Currently procrastinating about driving to B&Q or homebase to look at kitchens.

May order a pizza later and possibly fit my new graphics card.

Yesterday I was gardening (woohoo! Rolling Eyes ) as I have a serious dandelion issue! Today I walked the dog along to the point-to point and watched the horses. Tomorrow I will go out on the bike and I'm not sure what I'll do Monday, as depends on the weather. If it's good I'll be outside, if not I'll stop in watching movies and surfing the internet! Laughing

After reading all of that, the only thing I'm wondering is if Stinky cleaned his hands in between visits!!!

Tonka, there is an autojumble/custom car, bike/military event and stalls on at Wyke Caravan park, near Andover on Monday - only £3 entry...thats where I'm headed!!!

Woke up this morning and went for a ride, stopped off to buy my grandad's 70th birthday present, then did some more riding. Checked my phone about half 1 and noticed I had a message from a couple of my mates wanting to meet up, so went and met them and we did some driving (me riding obviously) went various places, the girls decided they wanted to feed ducks so we did that (saw some awsome ducklings).

After everyone parted ways I went down one of my favourite roads, it was totally clear so I averaged a high speed down it which put a smile on my face.

So yeah in a good mood now, going out tomorrow night and probably monday as well, for the rest of tonight - programming. I have to have built a working calculator in 2 weeks time so gotta get on with it.

Fixed the GasGas, ripped out all my Autocom and refitted it the way I want it, re-potted some of my plants, watched a documentary about recovering Liberty Bell 7 from the bottom of the sea, made a big pot of soup, pondered a job offer, bought a gallon of Baileys, found the source of the leak in the kitchen, made a small 'ebay pile' and ate soup twice.

No idea what I'm doing the next two days. There's some work stuff I should really get done before Tuesday but if the weather improves that'll probably go out of the window - there's some serious gardening needing doing.

Picked up dog sh1t, cut the grass, grinded loads of wire fencing, took it down the skips. Cut all the wooden posts up that was part of the fencing. Took loads of stuff to the skip. Going to have a fire later. I'm f*cked already though. Laughing

All that sunshine and I wasn't on the bike. WTF?

Today has been productive and fun.

This morning I did the chores of getting some oil for the mini, flea treatment for the kitties, and food shopping.

Then this afternoon we went to www.crimesofpassion.info which was AWESOME, so refreshing and awesome to see so many people there - got some good shots too.

Then we went to the workshop and bum around and enjoyed chatting and faffing with everyone.

All in all a good balance Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Went shopping for food, took the wife to the station so that she could go to the Ideal Home Exhibition, went to the dump to get rid of the endless shite that she'd kicked out of the house and dumped into the garage "for when I get a second" which invariably means it'll sit there forever unless I get off my ass to chuck the stuff. Cooked myself a curry to try to cheer myself up but it was futile - weather's shite so no bikey fun, can't be arsed to drive anywhere because it's BH wkend which means traffic, can't be arsed to entertain friends because that involves effort and can't be arsed to get drunk because that means arguing with the missus when she comes home.

Awesome day.
