this thing is reeeeeeaaaaallllly pissing me off now..ive worked 5 days on it to get everything up to standerd and spent alot of oney on it....only to find anew problem.
ANY advice is REALY apriciated as im totaly stuck.

Against popular belief I don't work on Mito engines all the time .
However I have heard many times that the Mito workshop manual on timing up the balance shaft is wrong. If the balance shaft it out then it will likely make the vibration far worse rather than canceling it out.
All the best

you hear about loads of people putting their mitos together like this.
the manual that cagiva put out is wrong, so if you find the settings for the balancer shaft, do the opposite and it'll be fine. cagiva try and get you to set it 180 degrees out, making it vibrate like hell. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!

Hi
Sounds like you have got it right, or maybe one tooth out by mistake.
The manual in English says bottom dead centre, but if you rear the other languages they say "punto morto superiore", "point mort superieur", "totpunkt positionieren" or "punto muerto superior", which all seem to be top dead centre. Basically the manual is right except it should be top rather than bottom.
All the best
