I need to find out what could be wrong with my bike, Once i starting reving it at around 6000 rpm it starts vibrating very badly, I have checked all the bolts i can get to but its still happening. Now i have taken the tank off and the airbox and once i start it fuel seems to be spitting out of the carbs on the right as you sit on it. It does not seem to be moving as well as the others and i think this could be the problem,

If anyone has ne ideas what this can be i will be very gratful. Mr. Green

Sounds like the carbs are flooding, making the bike run really rich and the uneven running you are experiencing.

You'll need to take the carbs off. Get into the floats and clean the float valves. Its prolly just a bit of muck under one or more of them!! Thumbs Up

Have you checked the engine mount bolts. Specifically the top left and right ones.

Loose one caused nasty vibes on my zx7.

Thanks for the replys on this,

I have checked all the bolts i can see and none of them have needed tightened.

I have since taken the airbox off noticed that the fuel spitting out of the 1st carb, I aint a mechanic but not too bad at taking them apart. I just would like to know if its easy job getting into the floats and getting the thing put back together.

I hope it will be not too hard as its bloody nice weather and want to get back on 2 wheels before the bloody rain comes back.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

i have since found out that i have 2 engine valves broken, i removed the cams and looked inside the engine and there they are broken, Does anyone know how much this could cost to get repaired or is it an easy job to replace them myself.
