Err, the same bikes we'd recommend for a man.

Think we need a bit more info here on what you're really looking for. Laughing

To be honest I don't think theres such a thing between men and women motorcycles.

Maybe we could class all kawasakis as womens bikes cos they're green... Razz

No seriously, just because you are female doesn't really mean you should have a different bike to anyone else, I have a friend with an NC30 and she's a damned good rider, from what I know of people on here the women are just as good as the blokes.

But on the other hand I don't think it's a case of male or female it's just some people are better at riding bikes than others and vary in skill level, not down to their gender. So to be honest if you need us to suggest you a bike then you really should evaluate your riding skills and get some test rides to see what's best.

How old you are, how much cash you have and the type of bike you want (sports, cruiser, etc) would help if you really want some advice.

And what kind of size you are (though that goes for blokes looking for a bike as well).

In general, the ladies are going to be shorter and that can affect your choice of bike. But if you're 5 foot 5 or over, the world is your oyster really.

As Yams says, give us a ballpark of what you're looking for - sports / tourer / cruiser. You looking for a learner bike or have you passed your test?

It undermines the struggle women have gone through to get equal rights, someone posting something like this is shocking! Wink Razz

Look at sports 400s then. They're all small, light and quick.

What ever bike you would buy, except a smaller model, 400's are great chick bikes. R6's, monster 600's, Raptors, Gixer 4's, all great bird bikes.

Or he could be pointing out that, out of the sport 600s, the R6 is physically the smallest. Rolling Eyes

(We just argued about this in the chat, but when I was buying a 600, I sat on them all and the R6 had the best reach to the floor. YMMV.)

V max (V maxii?) seemed fairly popular amongst the ladies last time I was shuttling around rallies, low seat and plenty of grunt so not too gear intensive. Somewhat over the 400cc mark though Wink

Personally I think the right bike depends on many factors. Height / strength being only two. Experience should also be taken into account. At 5 foot 4 I have a NSR125 and I am more than happy with the way the bike feels, albeit, I have only ever ridden CG125s before. YamsR6 had a good idea, test run a few, If not, see if you can get to a meet and ask the proud owners what they think. It is, at the end of the day, down to the individual as to what they like, and what they feel comfortable on.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

You're the one who decided to take offence at an entirely innocent comment mate. R6's fit ladies well. Fact.

Yup agreed I'm a twat, R6's are ladies bikes fair play to it.

Reading my above comments I said there was no real difference between men and women in terms of bikes or riding, so why would any bike be a womans bike, some women are short/small, SO ARE SOME blokes (marjay, i'm not particular big either!) but men can be short as well as women there fore theres no difference

fuck knows what I'm on about Laughing ignore me as I'm confused and don't know what we're arguing over any more.
