on mine i just got a race pipe, it gives it that extra bit of go towards the end of the rev range, i too didnt want to risk it with a bore kit especially as i've only got 4 months to go until i can have a 125! ____________________ ?It?s mercy, compassion, and forgiveness I lack?not rationality.? |

Even the standard derbi's are fast without a can, they certainly are one of the best 50cc learner bikes for speed, a few of my mates had them round here and loved them, looks more powerful then they really are. It would probably be best to keep it a 50 for reliability / insurance etc..
Hope this helps Ollie ____________________ Nsr 125, Vfr 400

insurance costs me about £400 tpft, for derestriction check the derbi forum as there are many different restrictions on different bikes
cutting the exhaust in half is removing the catalysor, this isnt nessecary as you wont feel much of a difference. ____________________ ?It?s mercy, compassion, and forgiveness I lack?not rationality.? |
