Hello everyone. Just thought i'd introduce myself as a new member. I dont own a road bike but i ride off road, motocross. I was wondering if i was welcome in here and if there are any other off-roaders here? Also, r u guys a different breed to us??? whatever - i think we're all Twisted Evil

yeah motocross is a good laugh. nothing better than hitting a jump in forth then flying through the air. if you haven't tried it i recommend you all have a go!!

will get a road bike one day too. i need to get some cash together first though Sad thats the hard bit!!!

Hello good to have a crosser here, I'm just buying a supermoto/mx bike and will be found up Golding Barn and on the green lanes of hampshire Very Happy ..

Went to golding barn last weekend, was good day out. If your local and fancy a practice track at some point give me a shout. (won't have the SM till next month or so though)

Wohoo some one else who knows how to ride properly Very Happy mainly sportbikers here mate but there the odd few that have seen the light.

i started to ride motocross before moving on to a 50cc, (boy i miss that power!) it taught me a lot about riding a bike and was a lot of fun Karma

I think riding off road would be good prep. for riding on the road. You get to do all the silly things without putting other people at danger and you learn hot to control the bike at speed and when things go wrong.

Yam, I'm from Wales so little difficult to join you on a practice track.

Laura, I've been reading through the posts. I think I might get in contact with Kickstart for some tips!
