A couple of people (namely Viper/Annabella, women eh, what ya gonna do Wink ) asked about staying in a bed and breakfast near the site.
I emailed the RBCS website and got this response:

There are numerous B & B's local to the RBCS (1-3 miles), the best thing
for me to do is give you the link for Ripley Tourist Information who have
all B & B's\Guesthouses etc. listed in one brochure, giving all details and
will send you one by return.

https://www.ambervalley.gov.uk/tourism/tic.asp

I phoned them up and they said they'd get a brochure to me within a few days... I'll post the different options up in a week or so (when I get back from Glasto).

I don't live far away at all from Rock n Blues (if my bike is sorted that is), so I might be able to help out the ladies with sleeping arrangements if push comes to shove Wink

Vick and I are sharing my tent I believe, there is a *little* more room methinks if necessary.

The other possbility I mentioned was being able to borrow one of the Guide's tents - a 12 man icelandic (like a small marquet type thing) and as my parents will be bringing my stuf in the tank, I could bring that too if any others need somewhere to stay.

IF I know anyone from the south who's going up in a car I'll try and get them to take my 3mx3m Gazebo as well. (not that'd you'd want to sleep under it though)

I haven't bought any camping stuff yet, but I was thinking about getting a 2/3 man tent...

...so even if no-one else wants to sleep in it, there will be plenty of room to shove your extra gear (like food, drink etc.) in...although I won't be held responsible if it all disappears overnight! Smile

<naive> How big are the tents (2/3 man) when they are packed up?...</naive>
