right i have my derbi senda 96

and the keys coming out even with the nut on the out sie being ubber tight

this bike it more hassle than worth :/

oh well not long till my 125 4 stroke Smile

The key should not be holding anything, it's only there to make sure the flywheel is positioned correctly. If it's working loose, then either the key or the keyway is worn/battered to hell. As long as the flywheel is positioned correctly and is staying where it is, then everything is ok.

If the flywheel is moving on the end of the crankshaft, then you've got all sorts of other problems that are nothing to do with the key.

Same happned to me, The grove was shagged - Ring around a few placed for a Magneto - I found one for my KMX for £50 - Kawasaki wanted £250!

Also remember to degrease both parts of the taper with solvent before fitting. Any oil on there and it'll just spin up.
