Watched this last night

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0936501/

In the kinda Bourne Identity/Die Hard/Man on fire vein, it's brilliant, gets 8/10 from me.

It's a bit 'steven seagal' though, isn't it?

Got randomly sent it on our LoveFilm thingy so we watched it last week. I thought it was pretty poor. The storyline was whack. Some OK action scenes, but that's about it. 3/10

I wouldn't recommend it unless you really have nothing better to do.

Haha I've got to agree with that one, but at least in this case the guy is not some chef from a small village in the mountains, who turns out to be tougher than superman and saves the world.

I've to say I really enjoyed Taken, it's a great action movie. 7.5 out of 10 I'd say.

Wicked film, the very beginning and end are a bit cheesy but the rest is great! Thumbs Up

I really liked it. A proper old school, no nonsense action movie.

Though it did take me a while to get over the fact that the girls get kidnapped the instant they hop off the plane and step onto non-American soil. I know the yanks have a bit of a complex about these things, but it's Paris FFS! Doh!

I'm at work the now, so can't check but wasn't it made by Frenchies? Same folk behind the Transporter movies?

Christ, you're right. That makes it even more inexplicable then. Ah well, it sets the film up nicely I suppose.
