I have this portable hard drive:

https://www.ebuyer.com/product/141559

And it seems to have corrupted a bit. Sometimes it won't even get recognised by my computer and other times some files will be available form it and others won't be. I'm trying to get some pictures off it but the drive won't access them so I was wondering if there was any freeware data recovery software I could use to get the stuff off the drive?

I'd use one of those places that does it for you if you drop the drive in with them but there's some... Urr... Private stuff on it so I want to have a crack at it myself first!

Could also take a look at Portable Freeware recovery section.
Advantage is the software can be run from USB stick if required (noi system installation).

Best of luck Thumbs Up
