Hi

They are not restricted, but apparently there are tuning kits available, principally to bore the engine out to a larger capacity.

All the best

Keith

Hi guys

As Keith said, there is a 150cc piston n rings set available for the Suzuki (fxr?) engine and it can be got from Woessner Performance in Germany...or your local bike shop of course! Smile

You could also consider changing the rear sprocket n chain to stretch the gears a bit to gain some top end speed, maybe upto another 5 mph?

Finally you can remove some of the baffle/pipe in the exhaust to make it more a straight through pipe (it apparently goes to the end, then back, then out!) which I have been told gives some slight speed increase too. I am waiting to buy a modified exhaust so I will tell you when I have it fitted!

Hope this info helps, if you want more technical information you'd better speak German....lol

Chris
