That's it, I've had enough! WHY did anyone think it was a good idea to invent the zip!? Evil or Very Mad

No , I haven't managed to trap anything personal within them. But on holiday a couple of weeks ago when camping I got really fed up with sleeping bags, they are filled to cover the zips and keep warmth in, but no-one thought how difficult it might just be to zip yourself inside without it catching 200 times on the way up or down!!
On my bike jacket, it has a so called waterproof lining that covers the inner of the zip. Nearly every time this gets caught in the zipper and you have to spend 20mins getting the fecking thing out again - and it isn't waterproof anyway!!
Now my bike trousers have zips on the bottom of them so they can either be zipped inside my boots or outside to stop water getting in my boots. Nearly every time I zip them up or down the friggin lining of the zip gets stuck. Evil or Very Mad

Surely by now, in this day and age someone could invent a zip with a mini snow plough on the front of it keeping all things clear. Or make a velcro like fastening that's tougher and doesn't come apart as easily as normal velcro. Or even copy plastic seals from the tops of food bags, make them stronger and not only do you have a proper waterproof seal but clothing is far less likely to get stuck in it!

AARRRGGGHHHHHH!!! Evil or Very Mad
