So I could say lock out the newbie Forum and maybe F&FW?

So just read what you want to read then click mark all forums read on the index, it isn't hard and admittedly sometimes I don't want to read what is in new bikers but every so often if I have nothing to do I will want to read the new posts in there. No point in hiding the forums then is there, sorted.

Right, which would just cancel the 'unread post' flashing for one's I am interested in. And the amount of new posts made every minute on the forum these days simply marking them all as read would likely course me to miss something that I didn't want to miss Rolling Eyes

I'm sorry did you just skim read, if you don't want to do that go into the forum you don't want to read and click mark all topics read, its not that hard, it also saves our poor Korn from having to do useless modifications to the forum so gives him more time to ride his bike. Very Happy

You could make your own homepage that only carries links to the forums you're interested in and use that instead of the BCF index. Razz
