Hi guys & girls, great site been reading about 2 months now Just after some advice please, i'm 29(started late, but better late than never as i say to my wife around period time ) & want to lose my L's.
I have an nsr125 at the moment & very empty pockets, do you think it's a good idea to take just the 125 test, as i cant afford training & can practice me tits off on my own bike.
I am in no rush to upgrade & i am quite happy to wait 2 years for the 33bhp to be lifted.
ps. would the instructor notice it's derestricted?
pps. and no i don't expect to pass 1st time with no training(i can dream) .
thanks in advance for any advice. |

hmm when i asked my local they said £100 a day, and that it would prob take about 3-4 days to lose all my bad habits etc.
just figured at those prices it would be the equivalent of taking my test 6-8 times, i was hoping to pass around the 3rd time .
Thought it would take a while to get the hang of the test bike, i sometimes hit the horn(no perv jokes please) when indicating on my nsr for the 1st day(my other bikes was further down).
Think i'll phone around & try an hour lesson, see what the bike feels like.
thanks for the advice. |

Well I've been driving for something like 15 years, so road experience isn't a problem... and just to make sure I iron out any bad habits I've just got one of the official guide books which explains the requirements of the CBT, theory and practical tests...
I know I'm gonna have to be reeaally careful when I first start out - but I just can't stop myself from drooling whenever I see a CBR600 out on the street!!
BTW, thanks for the advice Bendy |
