Steven Gerrard was today cleared of all charges at Liverpool Crown Court. What a surprise that must have been for the muppets who work for the Crown Prosecution Service. Personally I'm very pleased he was aquitted and never for one moment doubted what the outcome would be.

So the result is that rich people get away with things that those without good lawyers would get convicted for.

Having said that, it's a storm in a tea cup as even joe public would just get community service for a first offence.
