I have managed to loose both keys to a squire lock, and have also neglected to take down the reference number on the key's.
The lock is attatched to an Almax chain and wrapped around a massive piece of steel which is used to hold up a worbench.
What's going to be the best way to get this off so I can continue to use the chain?
Edit the lock is a Squire ss65cs.

Just had a thought, would a locksmith not be able to get this off, thus leaving me with a still useable chain?
Have access to an angle grinder if need-be. Thanks for the offer though sickpup. |

Best to chop padlock as suggested .
Locksmith will be able to open it ,but alas they will open your wallet .
Get a solid quote for the job, before incurring call out charges.
Cut it off Faster and cheaper
