Hi and hello, first time biker but messed on fields as a kid.

Can anybody tell me what the e stands for on a DT 125 re ??

+ I'm about 5.8 ish and I'm a bit nervous about the height of my new bike.
Is there a DIY way to lower it. It's an 05 DT 125 re ?

Brand new to bikes so idiots guide answer prefered. Embarassed

the 'e' stands for electric, basicly it means it has an electric start aswell as a kick start.

The longer they are the lower the rear end.

So, if you want to make it higher all you would have to do is make the suspension links shorter.

Oh and make sure you loosen your chain alot before you put them on Wink

im 5'9 and mine was fine.

Seats 900mm if thats any help.. Confused
