I recently purchased one of these:

Basically, it's a stick for throwing tennis balls for dogs to fetch. It's such a simple 'invention' (the idea itself is hardly new), but i think it's a quality piece of innovation and ergonomics.
Plus, my dog just loves to fetch, so he's happy too.

Well the ball launcher is a good one till my dog got a hold of it and chewed it but its such a handy and cheap investion.

I bought some crap ones in my time, Anything from kleeneze is rubbish and I recently got them magnetic window cleaners, you put one bit on outside and the other on inside , the magnet holds it while you clean and it has this bit of string incase it falls. It dasnt work it falls off I got me money back for it and all it was that crap.

I cant think of anting I have about the house thats not obvious like knives and tin openers. The wheel is the best one, where would we be without the wheel

Today I actually invented something that is worthy of Dragon's Den. I was running at the Wroughton Speed Trials and to say it was a bad day is a bit like saying that Howard Shipman was a bad doctor.
I do not blame the organisers in anyway for the total farce that emerged as the day went on as it was not their fault. The chimps engaged to do the timing failed to do the job that they were paid for ( not 200mph Straightliners of course, those guys are ace) and eventually they were thrown off site after five hours of poking wires into the wrong socket and an additional set of staring lights and timers were installed. We started to sprint at 3.00 ( I had been on site since 7.30 this morning) On my first run my bike died on the 200 yard mark. I pusher her the 440 yards back to the start and discovered a cam follower had snapped.
Back to my invention..... there was little to do in the way of amusement during the long wait for the timing gear to get going but I discovered that if I drank vast amounts of water it at least gave me a reason to go to the toilet and play with my lucky nob whilst I ran urine through it. The only way to open the porta-loo doors was to dig your nails into the vacant/engaged indicator and drag the door open ( I broke a nail doing this but compared to the other f**k ups of the day is was just a annoyance). So my invention, a sort of handle that fits on doors so that you can pull it open. I want to sell 20% of my company for an investment of £20000000.

Those ball throwers are very good for old folks who can't easily bend down to pick up the ball.

My favourite invention is the red phosphorous matchstick. You carry it in your pocket and it makes fire.
