Hi Everyone
Just introducing myself and say hi, I'm Lee Kennedy, a year ago I had no interest in biking but started working for a company that make custom ear plugs and as I didn't drive and they wanted to get me mobile and we are going to be selling to bikers it made sense for me to do my CBT and get a 125 till I can afford the test
Got a YBR125 now and absolutely love it (except that it doesn't have piles of power so it sucks a bit on dual carriageways). Had my first tumble last night, skidded on horse shit and done a bit of damage to the bike.
Got it all repaired now and sitting with an ice pack on my hand to repair the little damage I've done to myself and ready to get back on the road again.
Anyway, hi ____________________ Wind noise is almost 100dB at motorway speeds wear motorcycle ear plugs

I can sell you a kit that adds a protective shell and 2 extra wheels to reduce noise.
PM me if you're interested.
yours

God, I feel so stupid now I thought this guy had joined just to spam his products but now I see he's just a biker like the rest of us. Welcome friend, do you have any other bike/ear plug related tales to enthrall us with?
Do you get a commission or something or do you actually own the company? I can't see a normal employee bothering to do this in his spare time. ____________________ ZX6R + CBR600RR |

If it wasn't for his earplugs he'd have heard the loud QUACK! from the horse's bum as it dumped its apples and he'd have known to watch out. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold). Currently bikeless

Anyway, hi |
Too little, too late. Spam.
Edit:
I usually use MAX Lite earplugs like these:
https://www.discountsafetyonline.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=69
I find them to be a little hard to insert, but very comfortable, and they block out the right noises. I can still hear things, just not the white noise of traffic, wind and engine noises.
If anyone else wants to post examples of the earplugs they use, and any reviews thereof that would help to dilute this guy's attempt at spamming our forum. (as I'm sick of getting flamed for just giving negative ratings every time someone spams.) ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

I use noisebreaker earplugs, they are very friendly and will adapt them at reqiuest for free. Work bought them for me, in fact I imagine we buy thousands of sets each year.
Other than that I will use the soft disposable ones. ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |
