I'm now 17 and looking to get a zxr 400, ('restricted' to 33bhp.. wink), or possibly the zzr depending on insurance price differences.

I was just wondering, what is the cheapest insurance I would be looking at? (the absolute cheapest) I've had my provisional for a year.

Also, I've been looking at both of the bikes and have a rough idea of the prices, but what kind of price am I looking at for a decent 2nd hand zxr or zzr?

a Decent second hand ZXR400 is about £2000, an excelent one £3000.

Insurance for either would be in the area of £700 or more depending on where you live and if you have any claims etc

Did ride a yamaha dt 125, sold that though. Oh no, my karma has gone red because I flamed England and football! ahh well.
