what are good ways to really drop my insurance my bike has nothing on it like alarm or imobaliser bt my freind recons they cost a bom any suggestions

Its all down to the area you live and your age/ previous insurance record.

Best advice is keep it in a solid garage or shed with a ground anchor, should help bring the cost down.

parked in garage.
physical security - oxford monster padlock and chain...drops it, but buy the friggin lock.
honda have smartwater as physical security marking, that drops it a bit.
Im sure ive stated its in a garage with a padlock and chain, and its pretty cheap, im in a pretty shitty area too.

Bear in mind that if you declare security and don't use it, they won't pay out for theft. That's why mine is declared as 'kept on road, no physical security' even though its usually locked in my back yard with a ground anchor and heavy lock - you can guarantee that if it goes, it'll go when I've parked outside for 2 minutes while I pop in and grab something.
