The bandit 600 of the same year will fit straight on mate Thumbs Up

a friend of mine has one on his. He had the same problem because his is a canadien import.

If you still have problems try the uk bandit club at

https://www.banditclub.net/

Theres a small forum at the bottom of the page.

Thumbs Up

Don't forget, they really slow down the turning at slow speed.

Hi

I would say check the bike over first to see if you can find what has caused the instability, such as worn or notchy steering head bearings (or even a missing wheel bearing Shocked ).

A steering damper doesn't get rid of the wobbles, just disguises them, and if it is down to a fault it gives the problem a chance to get far worse before you notice.

All the best

Keith

www.sukbog.co.uk....they have a smartgroups mailing list which is slow if you use it through the web but ok through Outlook/OE

I second that. Check first. Its pretty had to get a tank slapper on a 400, unless something like bearing is loose/out, as Kickstart says.

Im pretty suprised ive not had a slapper on my cbr yet, must be becuase my bikes running pretty toight. bearings all round were replaced not long before i got it...

Thanks alot guy's, i checked the bike over but have concluded that its because i raised the back end 4 inch's Doh! that the handling is messed. hopefully a dampener will counter act this at least a little.

Thanks.

Yep, 4" would probably do it. You are probably going to say goodbye to any hint of quicker steering you have gained when you put the steering damper on.

All the best
