How much is the restriction? Will most bike garages do it?

just ride it like it is there is no way for the police to check if the be is restricted, no one has ever been done for a de-restricted 125/50

not much, but makes people think "why was the engine changed" if l was buying it l would think that the bike had been thrashed and the engine fucked so the mito engine was a 2nd hand replacement

I have a supercity (look in my profile), mine is the older version so has a 34mm carb. Mito's only have a 28mm carb and also the exhaust port is larger on the supercity, claimed BHP in my manual is 34bhp at the crank, very nice and fun bikes but i'm stripping and selling mine for parts Crying or Very sad .

Ive got a supercity (selling it (whole) by september). Early models were 34mm carb with 7 speed boxes and 34BHP at the crank (27 at the wheel). Early models were never restricted.

Later models have 28mm carbs, 6 speed boxes and 31BHP at the crank (24 at the wheel). These models were restricted by putting a cone in the exhaust and a smaller main jet to bring the power down to the legal limit.

Engine changes are common on 125 2t's.

It will make anything between the learner limit and 34bhp, depending on what carb and if it has any restrictors.

Early models (L was the earliest model officially imported, i think) go for £900, while later ones (w is the newest) go for upto £2000.

A restriction can be bodged by keeping the power valve shut, but to be honest no one cares about restrictions.
