Question for you spray painters

I've managed to put a nice scratch in the top of my Tank. It's quite bad too. Around 5" long.

Now the tank is blue and white. But in the white area its got the graphics which follow on from the fairing graphics. And in the blue area its got the "SUZUKI" decals.

These are all clear coated in. So I dont really want to strip the tank, and get the whole lot re-spray for a scratch really.

Would a competent spray be able to mask off the lines where it changes colour, Take back the paint on the scratched area, Re-spray, and blend it in with the rest of the tank?

I'll get some pictures up later.

Sounds do-able. Try those car chip specialists, they were good on my vectra bumper scuff.

Could they do it on the bike? Or would I be better off taking the tank off.

It's just an arse ache on the TL. The Tanks like a busa one with the hinge and the prop setup.

Yeah easily achieveable, just will have to bear in mind there might be a edge there after painting dont think the fineline tape even counters that

Maybe ZXR61 knows of a product to do it, only thing ive used that does similar is the soft foam but its for door seals etc, wouldnt work on a tank.
