I currently ride a CBR 600 R, im thinking of changing next year but i have no idea what to go for i dont care about manufacture...

Because i use my bike everyday i wouldn't really want to go over a 600cc mpg and all that...

Anyways next year i want to do some touring with my son .Is there a sports tourer out there were you can attach pannier and top box easy.

I know you can attach the above to any bike ,just looking for other peoples input on what bike to go for..

Please if you do have a 600cc with pannier could you post photo

Thanks
Mick

What is it about the CBR that makes you want to change - riding position, power delivery, handling? Or just bored of it?

The ZZR600 would be bob on. They may have been a bit long in the tooth by the time they stopped selling them new a couple of years ago, but they were around that long for a reason!

Good economy, useable but still fast performance, comfy enough for big miles, last forever, very affordable, good parts availability, need I go on?!! I loved mine but it had led a hard life and been ruined but a few past owners. I can't reccomend them enough personally.

P.S. There are loads of readily available luggage options as well! I'll see if I can find a web pic...

fzs600 makes a good mini tourer ( only ever used soft panniers on mine thou) but it did get a bit thirsty when thrashed.

or the zzr600, vstrom, dueville or the transalp.

I think it's crazy there's nothing like the ZZR or CBR6F still available. It's now either a GSXF, which isn't a sports tourer in my opinion, or step up to something like a VFR.

Surely there must be a market for a mid capacity, fast, comfy sports tourer? Am I wrong? Confused
