All you can is just wait two weeks for a letter. As far as I know not all cameras have film in them.

A lot, if not all of the scamera boxes are fitted with flasher units, but not all of them have actual cameras inside them.

If its your first offence you may be offered a speed awareness course (i'm guessing it was a 40mph limit)

As i said, if the camera checker person/CPS or whoever decides, decides that you are eligible and may benefit from a speed awareness course, they may offer you one.

In which case you will still have to pay the £60 but you just sit in a room full of randomers (you'll be suprised at the lack of boy racers, mine was full of milfs) for a few hours having a laugh, you don't even have to declare it to your insurers Wink

But, you can only do one course in any 3 year period, and it is at the camera checker person's discretion, if you are unlucky enough to get someone that hasn't been laid in a while, they may give you the 3 points Sad

£60 is a bit steep for some Thai food and posing for tourists' pictures. Shocked

LOL! After I smashed my car up (beware women in Tigras who can't drive, if you go into the back of them it's still your fault) I was on a similar course and it had a soldier who drove tank transporters and had wanged an Army Landrover up someone's arse; and a bus driver who'd clipped a parked car and spent the whole course whinging that driving around in a Ford Focus wasn't going to somehow teach him to handle his bus better.
