Just when you think you have fixed it all...
And its not...

I tried to start my bike this morning and done the usual thing but ended up running down the road bump starting my bike.

The problem started when i sat on the bike and pressed the starter button and all i got was a "whizzing" sound from the startermotor. I tried again and again and again but nothing and its still doing it now

It sounds like the actual startermotor is working and spinning but nothing is connected to the engine and therefore not starting it. Damn!

Can anyone help on how to fix my problem as i'm completely lost. Also given the fact that i cant even see how to get the startermotor off

anyhelp... (as always) would be great

Maybe i should get the title of "cursed bike owner"

One day...
I will fix it...

First thing first is to check the battery, no point in taking the thing apart when you could just charge the battery up.

Secondly. If it is the starter motor they are usually held on by a couple of bolts, check both sides, it will come off! It could be that the cogs have warn down, or the cogs have slipped out of place. You might have to take the engine cover off to check that the cogs are engaging each other.

If that still doesn't solve your problem, connect the starter motor up to your battery (dierectly) and see if it turns.

New starter motors are cheap from breakers.
