hi,
new to this and not that knowledgeable so please bear with me.
my nsr125 r1 52 reg seems to have the need to change gear rapidly as the revs shoot up in each gear, it feels as though the bike should have two extra gears or something, an example of this is that at 15-20 mph i have to be in third gear to go around the smallest of roundabouts as it seems to be jerky in second due to low revs or fine and screaming like a banshee in second. is this something to do with gear ratio's?
please help,

thanks

tom :(

a bit harsh bluex5...u not think?
Erm, has someone changed the sprocket sizes?
Usually people piss around with them...like me...and screw up all the gearing.
Count the teeth and see if they are the standard NSR size.

My nsr does an indicated 30 in first but that is forcing it. So i think you should be able to do 15-20 in atleast second.
