I have a Yamaha TW125, but no owners manual anymore, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells them, or failing that, a service manual for it, I know Haynes do a lot of service manuals, but I can't seem to find one for the TW125, any help appreciated :>

This might be a bit late, but I've got one with my Tw125. I can't get rid of it, but I'd be willing to scan any info that you want and post it/Pm it/E-mail it/Whatever it to you Smile

Mine is the 2001 model though (The one that looks much better hehe), and by the looks of it your is 2003/4. I guess most of it is still the same.

Abit off topic, but how do you rate the TW 125? Im quite interested in picking one up for some off roading.

You're better off with a field DT, KX, KMX etc. if all you want to do is some off roading.

The TW isn't up to much off roading at all.

The only "off roading" my TW125 can handle, is backlanes, and the beach, actual off roading, pah, it isn't the best.
But as a first time geared 125, it is very easy going and steady, and sexy, but of course the newer ones are better looking Wink

And askew, I am still in need of some information, although I will be getting rid of it soon, I would still like to keep it going okay until I do Rolling Eyes
The information I am looking for, is about enginge/gearbox oil changing/what oil it needs etc, and brake fluid/brake bleeding information, if it has it, although the thread in FAQS will tell me most of what I need to know on that I think.
Also if it has a little content/index you could scan in, just so I can get an idea of what info it has to remind me what else I wanted to know.
If it is possible I would be greatful. Very Happy

Yea ok Josh, I'll scan those bits in for you.

In regards to how the Tw's are, I love mine. I take it through thck forest areas all the time, and have even done a couple of mini jumps. It is much lower than your average off-roder though and as a result, my back brake lever hit a log at about 35-40 and bent around my right footpeg.

Oh yea and Josh, you know the 2001s are soooo much better looking

2001 model

Hah, trust you to pick the yellow one to show the newer model, the yellow just looks tacky, my bike is hot though :>
And thanks Thumbs Up

Also, I have never taken mine seriously off roading, as I figure it won't stand up to it, although I might give it a try before I get a bigger, more road based bike, heh :>

I knew there was another thing I wanted, the reccomended tyre pressures, that would help, I know they are way too low at the moment.
If you are still up for scanning stuff in for me, otherwise I will have to go to a local garage, eugh. Laughing
