This situation is thus:

I passed car and bike theory tests this time last year.
I passed my CBT back on november.
I passed my driving test a week ago.

I am a poor student who is now near bankrupcy after paying for driving lessons and tests etc.

I just rang up my local, and so far as i know, only rider training center. they want £125 per day, and £85 to do your test. they offer no discount for using your own machinary.

A bike test alone is £48, so i am giving serious thought to booking a bike test, finding out all the info i can about what you are and are not supposed to do, practising fo a few weeks, then having a bash at the test.

If i can pass a car test, surely that has to help towards being able to do a bike test?

2 days training then the test = £335
7 tests = £336

so even if i only pass 6th time ive still saved money!

oppinions/advice please!

Bingo!

I'd go with your suggestion Thumbs Up

If there are any experienced bikers watching this post who live near you they may offer to come out with you and offer you some pointers... failing that, get a book (<rant> I got the DSA CBT, Theory and Practical Book - it's sh!t, every other page it says, "Your instructor will give you advice on this..." How am I supposed to know all the instances I must do a lifesaver if all it says is, "Your instructor will give you advice on this..." </rant>), get loads of practice and you should be fine!

Good luck Very Happy
