If they are anything like the 600 or 900 version, they are more sports-tourer than outright sports

They were allways considered to be the tourer end of 'sports tourer'... ZZRish.

I *think* it pretty much uses the 600 frame, so will probably feel a bit underpowered for the size. And some people likened the styling to a space ship Confused

I'm after a sports-tourer style anyways. I wanna do plenty of miles and stay comfortable. I love the CBR's etc but something like a ZZR would suit me best.

My zx6 is comfortable enough to go distance, but sporty enough to keep up with R6s/GSXR6/CBR6 etc.

Could you insure a 600?? If so that would be a better bet that the 400. You never know, with it being more of a tourer they mightnot sting you too badly.
