well this morning i was hoping i could be one of those smug bsatards and do the ol' "i passed first time you know", but unfortunately it was not meant to be Rolling Eyes .

Everything was perfect, i put my foot down on the really slow speed walking pace manouvere but he turned a blind eye to that. he failed me for being 3km/h too slow on the swerve, was absolutely gutted!

i couldnt get another booking untill 14th december! so concequently i've had to re-book my Mod 2 for the soonest i could get, 5th JANUARY!!! got ages to wait now Evil or Very Mad , i better pass next time!

If nothing else at least i know exactly what goes on now.

Sorry to hear that - especially about the long waiting time. I'm a bit surprised it's so busy at this time of the year.

In the meantime if you have a bike (based on your avatar something tells me you do) practice everything that's required to pass the test in an empty car park every now and then - just to make sure you won't run into any problems next time.

(here is a PDF for the new test leyout with measurements included, in case you forgot about it)

Blimey, never knew the wait could be so long. When i did mine i booked 1 and 2 for the next day. They had loads of short notice tests. Are you DAS so need an instructor with you?

Good luck for your next one, sorry to hear you didn't pass this time. Is it worth ringing up every few days to see if they have had any cancellations?

I did think that, i may do but i'm not sure about any fees, plus i dont really want to mess around my instructor, but then again it is MY test.

I am A2 but need to use their bike, mine doesnt seem to like U-turns (think it could be due to my height Rolling Eyes , it is much better on the ybr)

unlucky, good luck next time mate. booking times don't seem to be busy in my area, i booked last week for today.

i passed my mod1 today with 1 minor,
didn't you have two goes at the swerve? on my first i got 49kph so i had another go and got 56 lol

at least you know you can ride the bike though and you failed on something which is basically unlucky

Yeah i did, got 42kph on the first and 47 on the second. i think i probably went too slow round the corner as it was absolutely saturated and i didnt want to loose grip lol Rolling Eyes . emergency stop was dead on 50kph.

What was your minor if you dont mind me asking?

ahh unlucky,
it was pouring it down with rain for me today aswell
on my 2nd attempt at the hazard avoidance i didnt stop direcly in the middle of the box, but having done it perfecctly the first time when i was 1kmph off target she let me off with just a minor (ive heard some people get failed for it, which seems quite harsh tbf)
so that was kind of her Smile

It's alright, just work on your slow control get a 125cc to practice around so you don't lose what you've got in your head.

I failed my MOD1 first time due to not getting enough speed on a old CG125 into the emergency stop and avoidence he even let me have two extra goes to the additional two times chance -- couldn't be done it seems, even ragged the hell out of each gear around the bend into it and was just under.

Yeah, i do have my own bike and seem to have good slow control on it. it just seems more difficult on the YBR, more wobbly which is a bit worrying Shocked .

Hopefully i'll be alright, i'm gonna go talk to my instructor tomorrow and see if it would be ok if a sooner re-test were to come up, i just want to get it over with!
