hi,
can anyone help me please, ive got an nsr and the rectifier has gone so ive orderd another. can someone tell me if that should be it or if riding it round for a few miles like i did with it starting to fail can damage anything.

Hey there,
I would imagine that a dodgy rectifier / regulator could either damage the battery/ fuses or end up leaving you stranded when the battery runs out of power if it wasn't getting charged. I doubt you will have done any damage by riding it as it was starting to fail, but I wouldn't recomend using it until you have replaced it to be on the safe side. If I were you I would check with your local bike shop just to make sure. Thumbs Up

My rectifier failed on me. it also took out the CDI, the generator and the servo control unit.

None there for the NSR125 though, Hope mine doesn't do a Mcjam and take everything else out with it Smile Confused
