Got my DAS later this week and am considering a Bandit 600 as my first BIG BIKE
Any pros / cons / advice on what to look for when purchasing?

Bandit 600 is a great bike, being group 10, insurance is cheap too.
They do require a service every 4k though and valve clearances have to be checked every service too!
The engine is bullet proof though, if serviced well.
I'm considering one myself as my next bike. |

get one I just did and it's fecking brilliant handles well once rear shock is knocked up a notch or 2 and insurance is well cheap I'm 21 6 point for no insurance and every insurance company wanted at least £600 tpo I got it down to £435 tpft with www.motorcycledirect.co.uk or .com cant remember but I get breakdown recovery and can ride any other bike so my advice is get it ____________________ WHAT DO YOU MEAN 100 MPH THATS IMPOSSIBLE I STILL HAD 3 GEARS TO GO OFFICER. They are fantastic, but be warned, you'll want to add to it for sure...loved mine....one mod I'd recomend is changing the std fork springs to slightly harder ones and added pre load adjusters (with 140mm air gap) to stop the front diving, also if you are changing the chain and sprockets change the rear to a 50 tooth, better acceleration and torque, a smaller frront chews the chain too much on the 600...
