Reccomend me a camera!!

Less than £100 point and shoot.

Want best image quality poss but not expecting miracles. Prefer pic quality over mega pixels

considering a casio exilim zoom ex-z2 from ebuyer for £89.89 looks good spec.

there is that many out there at the mo on offer the list is endless. my step dads just bought a samsung digi 12mp for £98 with a 4gb memorycard thrown in from pc world. its got some trick little toys on like slowing the shutter speed and the smile thing where it will only take a pic when all the faces in the pic are smiling..
ive just ordered a sony h20 last night and thats a nice bit of kit for its price of £187.

Hi,

i sell this sort of stuff to businesses along with other IT.

https://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=345475&CatId=0

Canon powershots have always been a good range for quality with value.

I have linked it from where i work, but do have a look around on pricing to make sure you get the best price. Be cautious of grey stock as the warranty wont be vaild for the UK.

Hope that helps mate

I would recommend any of the Panasonic Lumix cameras but you'll be hard pushed to find one of those for less than £100 new.

Just found a samsung pl57 on offer from play.com for £79.99. Looks promising and should do the trick, anyone got one?

There seems to be far too many cameras in this price range of similar spec I doubt there's a major difference between them all.

I was after similar criteria and bought a Casio Exilim Z22 from Argos, which was the cheapest place to buy it. I looked through a lot of review and comparison sites before deciding, startup time and capture speed were quite important as was having a Li-ion battery rather than AAs.

I'm quite impressed with it, once thing it seems to do really well is sky, looks 10x better than it did in reality when I took the photo, all my photos from my last Europe trip thread were taken with it if you want examples, they have been downsized though.

Walk away from the Samsung!!! Shocked

I would leave well alone any camera that is not made by the original camera makers. Opt for Canon. Sony. Fujifilm. Kodak. Nikon. or Panasonic.

At the moment Dixon's online are selling a Fujifilm A170 point and press digital camera for £57.00 with free delivery. It runs on AA batteries, and an SD card.

There is also the Nikon Coolpix again AA batteries and SD card, for sale at Argos for £70.00

I ordered the Samsung last night for £79.99 ... today play put it up to £99.99 Laughing

If it's rubbish quality then I'll return it.. but I'm hopeful it'll be good enough quality for the low price.

edit..

just looked again and it seems to be back to £199.99 Confused hope they actually send mine out and its not some kind of mistake!

Yeah, it does take great pictures, then in a year just after the guarantee runs out it plays up and switches itself off for no reason. I know two other people other than myself who have had this exact problem...and Samsung?? 'Oh it's the throw away age, cameras aren't built to last', bollox!

Might be wise to extend the warranty!
