Hey people. Let's say I have just passed my CBT, and I get the certificate signed, what license is it then? Would it be:

1) A1 light motorcycle test

2) Category A motorcycle test

3) ECU license (EU)

4) foreign

5) Full UK

6) International license

7) provisional UK

8) Restricted (Full) 3 years or more

9) Restricted (Full) Less than 3 years

Also, what would it be if I passed my theory + hazard and perception and my practical?

It would be a UK Provisional License

Depending upon age:

At 16 you can ride a moped with L-Plates and usual learner restrictions

At 17 you can ride a 125cc (upon passing your test you can ride any size bike provided it's restricted to 33BHP)

At 21 you can take the D.A.S. route which you can then jump on any rocket.

Taking the theory test doesn't effect your provisional license status, just enables you to take your practical test

It remains a provisional untill you pass your practical test. then depending upon the machine you do it on it becomes either an A, A1 or A2.
