Ok, let's not think of this guy as a biker but as a nutter with a nail gun.

(how do you manage to ride a bike and fire a nail gun at the same time anyway?)

Fast bikes are quite often used in armed robberies. I saw a clip once with what looked like a townie in joggers and trainers revving the bike while the other guy did the smashing.

I wonder if they can actually ride the bikes (no doubt stolen)

Firstly I doubt the public will associate bikers with nail-gun weilding attackers Razz secondly, how the hell do the police think it was racially motivated? The report on the BBC website lacks a lot of info to make any judgement so bleugh Confused Just my 2p worth.

Have you not noticed its ALWAYS racially motivated if it involves an ethnic minority. Maybe she just pissed him/her/suzi ( Laughing ) off or gave them the wrong change. Maybe they were innocently carrying a nailgun to go put up a shelf and it discharged in their bag, and well... you get the idea.

Why must they always pass judgement so damn quickly.

I would imgaine if that 15 year old boy (RIP) who was recently stabbed to death, was murdered by white teenagers, it would be racialy motivated and if they were not caught the police would be racist and inept Confused

Exactly what I was wondering as I read it. I suppose because the biker was white and bus driver was a paki so it had to be a racist attack.

let us not confuse biker loon with supposidly racist nutters who attempt to kill people with a nail gun.
his will do nothing to make everyone think we are all loons, just like a drive by shooting doesnt make everyone think all can drivers are boy racers.

He may have been wearing a helmet but if he's shooting ppl with nailguns he's probably a moron, so was probably wearing t-shirt and shorts hence ppl know whether he was black or white, or they just assumed he's white because the busdriver was black so he had to be because only whites attack blacks fuck knows it's all bollocks.

The basis of this thread is wrong (as other have already pointed out). There is no reflection on bikers per sa here. Would you associate all car drivers the same way because somebody fired a shotgun from a car? No, of course not.

The racist angle is more complex though. But I agree with the gist of what people have been saying here. I can't see that this is 'racially motivated' at all unless there's something the police aren't saying. I suppose they say that to lend some creedance to them taking this possibility seriously if it were to be the case.

Mad world.
