Ive got the top ones, right. But if i had the choice now id get the race ones...

The top ones have good protection around the ankle, in particular around the back. The side protection is not that good. They do flex quite alot left to right... They are good boots, and would help a lot, but if i had another shot, id get either the bottom ones, or boots with less flex left to right. Better boots would cost more, whichever brand you buy.
