Just fitted my new shock, linkages and bushes to the NSR (that I got for a total of £40 Mr. Green) and everything is fine. However I can move the shock from left to right, their is a gap between the frame on each side of about 3mm or so.

Also as I rock the shock it moves where it joins the linkages, will this damage the bushing? It is pretty much the same width as the old shock, should I shove some washers in so it is in the middle and cannot move, or is this normal?

Other than that thier is no movement in the linkages etc Very Happy

sounds like you have the wrong bushes, and yes it would damage them, if it is the wrong bush you need to press the correct size one in with a flypress. l had thsi problem getting a CBR shock in a ZZR the oringal hole was too big in the bush so l pressed a smaller bore in.

Never Ever pack in washers when bushes are concerned, bloody dangerous Mad

Heh Very Happy

It's just that on the old shock, the eye is the same width, so that will move from side to side as well Confused
