Hi All,
After changing jobs a few weeks ago I found I needed some extra transport to get to and from work, and well I could not afford to run two cars, so I opted for 2 wheels.
So I bought a erm, well little blue thing that costs me £1 in fuel a week.
Little did I know how much I would enjoy the freedom, and the fun of nipping about town.
So I have decided that my new goal in life is to save enough money to go the whole hog and become a biker at long last. So once I can afford it I will be going down the DAS route
I'm still a little shaky around traffic so I tend to que with it instead of filtering, and still lacking confidence on the corners, but I'm sure it will come. 20 years behind the wheel has made me a bit of a softy.
As to what bike I want, I'm leaning towards a Hornet at the moment. But if you guys could help guide me that would be great. The bike will need to be forgiving enough for a newbie, and good for all weather riding.
Thanks in advance for any advice given. |

DAS good.
Do it.
Hornet's a great choice for first bike too. Confidence will come on a bigger bike, as they're easier to ride than little ones.

get a bandit 600 they are much the same as the hornet but I'm 21 just done my das and I think the bandit is a bit cheaper and its got a better tank range as for power I can do 120 - 130 but it does need a small screen good luck finding what you want ____________________ WHAT DO YOU MEAN 100 MPH THATS IMPOSSIBLE I STILL HAD 3 GEARS TO GO OFFICER.
