I just dont believe my luck Twisted Evil
for many reasons, i hav`nt been out on a bike this year until today.

so i`m looking forward to having a spin and shaking off the cobwebs.
all eager, i get the bike from the garage, kit up (helmet, gloves, ect ect), swing my leg over the bike and what starts to happen!!!..... i dont fecking believe it Sad
still i went ahead anyway, but tippy toe until i`m back in the swing off things again.
stopped at a little rural forecourt to get some petrol, and they still have an attendant to come out to fill your tank and take your money Smile which is nice!
he looks at me and says "two rays of sunshine and you lot are all out," laughing as he offered me a rag to wipe the water from my visor.
suppose i had better stay in for another three months Smile

Only thing I dislike about rain when on the bike is if my kit isn't waterproof.

Some of my best rides have been in the wet, you can lean a lot further than you think.

Earlier in the week I finally managed to get the Bandit as clean as it's ever been in the last 4 months of owning it
... only to have to come to work in the rain this morning...

So now I have to wait until the next dry day again and start from square one Rolling Eyes

Lol yeah exactly the same happened to me. Spent a good couple hours degreasing, cleaning, polishing and ACF50ing my bike, then the next day do a long journey in the rain and by the end it looks like ive been offroading. Filthy.

Added to this the Loobman i fitted had the bottom torn off by the chain as i fitted it too low spilling oil all over the back end.

Waiting for a good day to sort it all out again now.

Very annoying when you clean the bike and then it rains the next time you ride it, leaving it looking like a pile of poo. ESPECIALLY when you use ACF50! Evil or Very Mad The consolation is that it's still protected heh. For those of us who ride all year round out of necessity, we're just used to it I guess.

Damm. I've been riding all through winter. And supidly thought that weather had been n gone. Tonight i have soggy balls after riding in my new but totally not waterproof bling.
Saw some weather resistant Jeans in the shop and thought...Nahh.'.Look its all sunny and warm.'
My bike looks like a SL--aaa-G. Sad

I have been on the bike for the last week because the car is in being repaired, so days when it's pissing down (ie: yesterday) when I'd normally say 'fuck it' and get in the car I've had to ride.

My gloves are still wet from Saturday morning's downpour, though it was fantastic sunshine today... and loads of cagers driving extra slow so I couldn't enjoy that either!
