Basicly ive been offerd a camera, and would like to know what i could expect for the 40quid he wants for it.

Fuji FinePix s5700 Digital camera - boxed - 1gb - 7.1mp - up to 48x zoom - 2.5"screen - very good condition

All i want it for is taking fancy close up pics of bikes/scenery ect.

what does BCF think?

My dad used to have that camera, the SLR look one. I googled image. The cam corder is pretty crap on it, all pixely like a camera phone, I borrowed it of my dad before I bought DLSR as my cannon broke and I thought it was an awful camera compared to my cannon ixux 70. I suppose its ok for £40 though but dont expect brilliant quality. Ok for basic digital camera and camcorder crap. Also bulky, but not as bulky as my nikon but my nikon is worth being bulky. It has a lot of confusing functions that bugged me, my dslr was easier to work.

Well If you look at my older pics on flickr they can show you the quality Wink flickr button on facebook, tells you camera beside pic. This is the cannon ixux 70 pic and no photo shopping done apart from putting my name there.

Nice. My dad has an A570 powershot. I was quit impressed with that. Too bulky for me though. I can see me spending my 15% paypal voucher tonight... Laughing

I could get one for £107 give or take a few pence. Thinking

I plan to get myself a decent digital camera after I've started working again. I want one that can zoom in pretty good, and take decent shots at night...as well as my other 'usual' needs. (which I'm not going to list just now) Cool

I have the S5600 and I'm happy with it. Getting a bit dated now, but like you want to, I only tend to take pictures of my bike and the scenery.

For £40, I'd buy it.

Just spoke to my brother who has the S5800 and is very happy with it. Thumbs Up I reckon for 40 notes you'd be daft not to try it.

Looking at ixus 95is high street prices.

I don't know where to find the categories tbh df. Confused

Comet have them for £130 which would give me to some one to shout at if it broke as it's only down the road. Smile

Edit: I find a camera I want and it doesn't take normal AA batteries. FFS.

All I see is cloths and boots in it. Not even mens stuff. So tell me what you see in there.  :|

Hello Anneke,

Thank you for your email about the voucher you've received.

Anneke, the vouchers that are being given to members is sent by the
system in random. The system will not base this on factors such as
purchase frequency and other factors in relation to buyers. Also,
vouchers has an specified conditions to which to promote items on the
particular category of an item.

As you would like to receive the voucher that is for general items on
the site, you may receive one in the future. You just need to make sure
that you have an updated PayPal and eBay account details for this.

Thank you for your understanding. I wish you all the best for your
future trading on eBay.

Kind regards,
