Correct me if I'm wrong but I belive the Kickstart Spline is the shaft the kickstart lever turns with teeth on the end which go into the gearbox and turn the engine over, if that makes sense. I had this go on my bike (when I was trying to start it before buying it:roll: ) and as a result the kickstart would slip whenever the engine went on compression.

The splines are the toothy bits that stop the lever from spinning round on the shaft .....
